We provide limited "look-up" capabilities for those needing information on their families.
* Responses to eMail queries will continue to be "free of charge" with exceptions as noted below. *
Our services are provided by volunteers who do not charge for their time, however they are not "certified" genealogists and cannot devote extensive time to any one family. They will provide as much information as is possible within a limited amount of time. Also they will attempt to provide you with a path to follow to continue your search.
We have microfilm of the KY Death Certificates for the years 1911 - 1958 and can provide copies. Death Certificates are $3.00 each if you provide the name, year and certificate number. You may obtain Death Certificate Numbers from http://ukcc.uky.edu/vitalrec/
If we have to look up the number there is an additional charge of $2.00 for a total of $5.00 per certificate.
To offset our costs we must charge for various items such as paper, postage and the like.
- copies of documents - $0.25 per page
- postage and handling - $1.00 minimum
- other costs incurred - will be invoiced and included in the reply you receive
